NivoSlider is built into the Mantra theme, but I want to replace it with one that handles video links and text files as well. What’s involved in disabling the Nivoslider and replacing it with something else?

Transferring the presentation page file in a child theme and then modding it to alter the HTML markup for the slider you want to use instead.
