Power UserI am running Kahuna Free on an AWS Lightsail Bitnami WordPress instance and own a Kahuna Plus license. The instance is near end of life (old PHP), so I need to migrate to a new instance anyway; I’d like as part of the migration to use the Plus theme.
I use UpdraftPlus for backups and have used this to restore to a new instance previously (works great). I also have an Elastic IP (static IP) so when I finish prepping the new instance I just re-allocate the IP address to the new instance to complete the migration. Makes downtime essentially non-existent.
I’d like to use Kahuna Plus on the new site. Is the best methodology to:
– Use UpdraftPlus to restore what I have to a new instance.
– Install KahunaPlus on the new instance and run the Import function?Or is there a better way?
Thanks,

Cryout Creations mastermindYou should perform the migration/transfer of your existing site and ensure that everything is working correctly and as desired, and when that’s confirmed simply install Kahuna Plus alongside the free edition and use its import functionality to transfer theme options to the Plus.
