I have the Tempera template installed and have been working through the changes as I go, pretty simple to use for the most part, but I am perplexed by the 6 images on the the presentation page and how to edit the photos and text. I saw an earlier post where it was said if wiget columns were selected you could find them under appearance/widgets page. But after spending an hour on that page I can’t find it or how to get to it. I’m a noob trying to help the guys out, but this one is beyond me any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Steve

It’s fairly easy to set up, yes you should be in the Appearance>Widgets page. Then on the right you should see a box labeled Presentation Page Columns with a down arrow to open it up. Then drag the box labeled Cryout Column from the left side into the Presentation Page Column box. Using the down arrow on the Cryout Column box open that up and there you can include Image, Title, Text and Links as you require and then Save. Repeat the process for every column you require on your presentation page.

ps.. You will need to set the Column Content (within Temperas Presentation Page settings) to Widget Columns for the above to work.

hi, I tried some plugins to make the site multilanguage. What can I use to translate the texts in two languages ​​presention of the page (and cryout column widgets)?

i am about to toss my laptop out the window. i have followed your widget instructions to the “T”, to no avail. the widgets were working find up the last theme update you guys made. i cannot make the widgets display on either 2 or 3 columns (prsentation page columns setup as widget columns). you have a great theme, but need to get this fix to finish. i even created the images to the specified dimensions depending on the number of columns i select. no luck.
i am working on a Mac Pro laptop. does the tempra theme not work properly ona mac? is this the problem??

what am i doing wrong? everything else on the theme works just find. please advise asap.

hi guys,
i logged into a pc using windows7 and noticed the widgets columns display properly. i went to the Appearance -> Tempra Settings -> and clicked on the presentation page, but instead of seeing the arrow pointer, it displays a bar i.e. (I) and not able to access setting on the theme. is there some setting in windows i have to change?
you guys have fabulous themes, plz advise asap.

When using widgets for the columns on the presentation page, is there a way to use anything besides a cryout column? I want one of the columns to have rotating tweets, one to have testimonials, etc….is image the only option?

Hi folks,

I love this theme. I’m working on a new site using it, which uses widgets instead of posts on the presentation page. Under the Cryout widgets, there’s a search bar that gives the ‘Nothing Found’ message. I can’t seem to find where to remove the search box. Can you point me in the right direction?

Figured it out! You have to remove the ‘read more’ text if you aren’t using posts on the presentation page.
