On my site http://www.peteralvey.com the News Categories at the bottom of the page takes you to a list of the different categories, each post listed displays a square image and text  to the left of this image.

Weddings or boudoir are good examples.

BUT

Some don’t display the image, facebook or PTS photography for example.

Why is this, NONE hve a featured image set, it’s pulling the image from somewhere else,but I cant figure out how some have it and others don’t!

I assume you mean the two images you see for each post on this page: http://www.peteralvey.com/category/boudoir-photography/

Disable “Auto Select Images From Posts” from “Featured Image Settings” in Manta Settings.

BUT

Do not display the images when viewed as news categories?

Why do some display the images but others don’t?

None of them do!

They are all identical.

The featured Images is left blank for all of my posts.

I think this stopped working when I updated to the new version.

 

None of the news posts I add now show an image when you look at news categories, the images appear ok on the actual posts.

I used featured images for posts on my blog as well, and I did not encounter this issue after updating.

Did you test to see if this happens when all plugins are disabled? Could be an incompatibility between a plugin and the theme.
