Hello,
this is a great theme,
I have tested my work with another theme and the logo was showing,
with the nirvana theme, it did not work, I even disabled the header, with no luck,
I tried disabling all Plugins, again same problem,

Ok, I got,
It seems it is an either or situation,
I think site title and description with logo should be an extra option, but it is not there, unfortunately

Look under Appearance > Nirvana Settings > Header Settings for the theme’s option.
