– why is my gallery not visible in the published version?
– I am using the open-source version of wordpress. What can I do, that some sites of the menu do not open up and instead just refer to the subpages, that can open up?
– although I deleted the section “category”, on many sites it still shows a section category at the end of the page.

You can edit any text that is displayed by the theme (and is not configurable through the options) using WordPress’ translations functionality:
