Image for article page disappeared after upgrade to 1.3.1

    Hello,
Thank you for all the great work on this fantastic-looking theme!
After upgrading to 1.3.1 and activating the usage of categories, the background image in the header is not showing any more on my article (blog) page: https://entre-parentheses32.com/blog/.
Unsure that this is related but sometimes the page seems to “hang” ie it displays correctly but Chrome still says “loading”.
Whereas on all other pages, landing page and normal pages, the background images are showing.
    Any idea why? Thank you!
    Davy

That specific URL (/blog) does not appear to be available at this time.

Did you remove the section in the meantime or is it published privately only?

    Hello @Zed
Apologies – I did some rework to try and correct things (including deleting the blog and restarting with a different page name … which is the reason why the URL was’t available anymore).
Right now the page doesn’t hang anymore but it doesn’t display the image that I indicated in the set-up … it flips back to the default theme image for one reason or another.
Here’s the new blog page: https://entre-parentheses32.com/dernieres-nouvelles/.
As you can see it displays the default image (from “Site Identity”) although on the blog page itself I set up another one.
    Thx for following up!

    Hi,

Any static page that is assigned to the special “blog” section will have all of its content (except the title) and meta attributes (such as featured image, custom metas provided by the theme) ignored by WordPress and will use the general site properties instead.
The same happens to a static page that is assigned as the “homepage” of the site (when the theme’s landing page feature is not used).

    Hello @Zed,
Yes, that is understood. The thing is that I actually replaced the image in the general site properties. But it doesn’t take it into account.

I notice the site still uses the theme’s example header image – as can be seen on the search page (which doesn’t have a configurable header image).

If you’re comparing the blog section’s header with that of the homepage note that the homepage, as currently configured, does not display the header image – but the different banner image – in its slider section.

@Zed, you’re right! I must have been tired 🙁 but I just upgraded to the latest version and could successfully change the default theme example header to another image.
Issue solved. Thanks for the help and hints and the great work!
