When displaying my images in their attachment pages the descriptions get doubled. Is there a way to get this to stop? (I’ve deactivated everything else (still doubling) and changed themes (stopped doubling) Help greatly appreciated 🙂

edit- still playing around if I add a blank space or text to the caption area the doubling stops and if I delete the description it stops doubling. Playing around with the Image Attachment Template (image.php) if I delete ‘ the_excerpt();’ line 58 or line 62 ‘<?php the_content(); ?>’ the doubling stops but doesn’t seem to work well with the Jetpack ‘related post’ option
