How to Set Up the Front Page so only the post's image shows up

    Hello!

My blog is a book review site. And I’m wondering if it would be possible to set up the front page so that only the image from the post shows up?

I’m using a plugin called Ultimate Book Blogger which allows me to put the image of the book on the front page. However, the entire post also shows up on the front page.

I’ve gone to Appearance–>Customize–>Post Information and set it up so only excerpts would show. However, in order for the image to show up, I have to set up the post as an image format. When I do this, the excerpts function doesn’t work – as per the note listed on the Post Information page, I’d have to revise the excerpts function for the different formats and I’m not sure how to do this.

    Thanks.

The theme will display featured images next to the excerpts on posts that have featured images set.
I’m not sure how this works combined with the plugin, though.
