Hi, I tweaked a setting and now get an ugly container/bar appearing just above the footer, it is the same color as the footer, but I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get rid of it. Any help much appreciated!!

That is due to a styling hiccup on the particular layout you are using. We’ll get it fixed in the next update.

All sorted after reinstallin gthe template. My bad – just not sure what!

@natergray, just because some things are similar, doesn’t mean they are the same.
Version 1.2.8 did fix the colophon (footer widget areas) margins on left layouts which was the issue reported by @joekob.

However, as you did not specify a link I cannot take a look at your site to see what’s wrong.
