How to customise featured thumbnails?

    Hi, Ive ebnabled featured thumbnails but would like to know how to have more control over them. Currently they are set to responsive but are different sizes on different posts and I am unable to control which part of my image is in the thumbnail.

    Setting it to cropped makes the images the same size, but I would like to control the contents of each thumbnail individually if possible!
