How to add more than 5 Social Media Icons?

Took me a minute to realize the point of the question.

You can’t easily make Mantra display more than the built-in 5 social icons at once.

We are begging for more social media icons for our site too. We want to add iTunes to our Linkedin, Facebook, pinterest, Twitter, Youtube links but we are out of entries.

I read in matra that you can solve this issue by the Mantra child theme. Can I do the same with Parabola> Can I add Matra child theme to parabola main theme to add an extra social icon? than kyou

Can you please help us do that? We need to add more social icons while it only allows us to add 5 in Tempera.. Any help plz?

Adding more than 5 social links in Mantra would be great if that could happen.. it’s a wonderful theme and should be updated 🙂

I have a solution. See Tempera with up to 9 social icons.

Using Tempera 1.2.8.

Requires modification of ~7 files in the code.
So using child theme seems mandatory.
