Is there a way to add different icons to the Featured Icon Blocks? Or change them to text links or even photos? None of the icons really fit but I also want the boxes to be clickable to their parent page. Would entertain paying for such.October 12th, 2017 at 18:01 #54810This reply is private.October 12th, 2017 at 19:39 #54811
I also had the same question. I was going to head into the source files and put some in manually, but I was wondering if there was a simpler method.October 15th, 2017 at 17:30 #54864ZedCryout Creations Team
The icon blocks use the theme’s built-in icon font for the glyphs. If you want to use different icons, you’d need to integrate your own icon font on the site and apply the necessary styling to choose the correct characters as the icons.
Drop-in replacing the bundled icons is not easy to accomplish (as their exact list and characters are integrated in the code of the theme) and replacing them with images is not simple.January 8th, 2018 at 00:56 #58027
i am building up the new website for my wifes project “FrauenFilmTage” (www.frauenfilmtage.at, the given url is the working version). On the landing page i would like to have a proper icon for “films”.
btw: a great and easy to customize theme 🙂

Adding additional icons or replacing existing ones is not easily possible. You could use CSS and perhaps a custom embedded font to add your own custom icons.
