I’d like to take out the leave a reply/comment box at the bottom of each post, how can I do that?

on wp-admin, go to menu comments, you can delete individually or mass comments

if you want to disable comments, go to menu all pages/posts, quick edit in page/post you want to disable comments, and uncheck allow comments (and update)
