I am using the All-In-One Event Calendar plugin from Timely (website: Time.ly) on my site with the Parabola theme. When I create a calendar event, the plugin creates a custom post type specific to the plugin, which results in the post with event details losing the styles in the css file. Specifically, the white background for a regular post page, becomes transparent on the events detail post page.

I have switched to an alternate theme, and the issue is resolved in the other theme. I have also deactivated all plugins except for the All-In-One Calendar plugin with the Parabola theme, and the issue remains. The plugin site suggests that when this occurs, it is due to the theme not supporting custom post types. Does Parabola support custom post types? Any suggestions on how to fix this issue within Parabola?

Custom post types should be handled better in the 1.3.0 update.

hi,
i suppose i have a similar issue as Kris described, but with another plugin (The Events Calendar by Modern Tribe Inc. http://www.tri.be )
it seems that the parabola theme places the CSS in the header of each page (as opposed to putting the CSS in its own file an then loading that file to the header). this causes overrides of css that should style custom post types that The Events Calender uses.
i have parabola 1.3.0 installed but the problem is still not handled as it should (as far as i can see).
