Comment option won't show on posts

    I have been working on the mantra site for a while and created a page for posts.  I have changed the template to blog and posts and the comment box or leave a reply still won’t show.  I just want people to be able to leave comments and i have already marked comments, pingbacks and all of that.  still nothing.
