I try to get overlay effect on columns (text over image) but it doesn’t work.
It doesn’t matter what setting is on Column display option, it always displays static text under image.
I switched all plugins off and it didn’t make any change.

How do I fix it?

The column captions are designed to move below the columns when the theme considers it is viewed on a mobile devices – screen width is below a certain value – as mobile devices do not have hover events for the animations.
This is part of the theme’s responsiveness feature.
