When I make a change in the Tempera settings, such as selecting a new font or changing a color, I click on “save changes,” but nothing changes when I return to the website (open in another browser) and refresh. I’ve tried clearing my browser history, but that doesn’t help.

I’m new to WP, so it’s entirely possible that I’m missing something that’s completely obvious. Any help is appreciated.

Check if you’re using a caching plugin. Clear cache or disable plugin while setting up the site.

I had disabled WP Super Cache and still experienced the same behavior. The workaround I implemented was to re-enable it, but set the cache timeout to 15 seconds. Firefox still insists on loading cached versions even after I delete temporary Internet files, but my hack works in Chrome so at least I can see my changes while I’m trying to customize the theme.
