Avoid featured images/thumbnails showing up in posts

    I have added a featured image in some posts as I have recently moved over to the Mantra theme and they aren’t showing up in the posts if I reach them in the usual way. BUT if I reach the posts through Cathegory or Archive widgets do I see both the thumbnail and the posted image. Is there a workaround to avoid that?
