I’ve tried to find an answer to my issue but don’t really understand if the same applies to my problem, so I’ll posting a new topic. My featured images have also been shrunk to a small stripe rather than a thumbnail, happened after last update. It only happens to new posts, the old ones are fine.

Cryout Creations mastermindThis is because the new images are actually cropped to the configured height (200px), and then resized to fit the screen width, while the older images are displayed in full in a 200px tall view box (since no smaller crops are available). The different in aspect ratio (200px crop compared to original) results in the difference in appearance.

June 9th, 2017 at 14:00 #46690I also have the same issue. It does look uglier than before with the bigger res images.
Is it possible to exclude generating of the smaller crops?
Is there a way to add a drop down box in the post configuration tab to choose which image or minimum res to be loaded?July 27th, 2017 at 12:21 #50917I don’t want featured images in posts to be cropped/resized at all and in new posts the featured image is no longer responsive. Not very “fluida”…
