The Kahuna theme has some stubborn hover styles that don’t always respond to quick edits. The best way forward is usually through the Customizer or a child theme so changes won’t get wiped out with updates. Using your browser’s Inspect tool can also help pinpoint which selectors Kahuna is applying, so you know exactly what to adjust. Sharing from my own experience, Salman Yousuf has also found that this method works best when customizing WordPress themes like Kahuna.
