Tempera theme giving white screen of death

I created a website on a multisite using the Tempera theme, and loved it! I then upgraded to WP 4.6, and my website worked for a day or so, then it broke. I did everything I could think of to fix it, and it would not work. What was strange is my other websites out of the same WP install was working, except for this one. SO, I installed a new instance of WP, upgraded to 4.6 (original install was 4.5), and set up the website the same way, with the same plugins and theme. After doing some additional settings on the theme, I went to check out the page and it was broke again (white screen, “The page cannot be displayed because an internal server error has occurred.”). After thinking about the differences between this site and the other ones, the only thing different was which theme I was using. This morning, all I did was remove the theme, and my website is back up. I’m currently using Nirvana, but I really like this Tempera theme too. Let me know if there is any other information I can give you, so that you can fix the theme. Laura

The actual error message(s) (that should get logged in the error log) would be very useful in identifying the cause.

I know this might seem dumb, but how do I find the error log? I tried finding an error log, but couldn’t find it!

The only error message I can find is from Internet Explorer when I go to the site: This error (HTTP 500 Internal Server Error) means that the website you are visiting had a server problem which prevented the webpage from displaying.

For more information about HTTP errors, see Help.

Each server keeps logs of server requests and errors, and its location is set by a configuration file.
If you do not have access or know about this, ask your host. They should know.

If your host offers a hosting control panel to administer your site/domain (which you have access to) you might be able to find access to the logs in there.

I will check with godaddy and find out if I can access these files. Thanks!
