Embedding that custom error page in Mantra’s 404 file is rather difficult.

In my opinion, the easiest way to do this is to use Apache’s .htaccess features to define a custom error page for your website.

You can change the link for the Presentation page columns by going to the Mantra Settings Page >> Presentation Page >> Presentation Page Columns >> click on a column and paste the link in Link section. There you can edit the other fields as well.

1. Enable Breadcrumbs under Misc Settings
2. Make sure the image you upload is the exact size as specified when you upload the header image so that it won’t get cropped and lose transparency in the process.

I can not find how to put a link to this page to read more.
I would also add in the first column of the bottom one I named testimonies, read more on a slider with comments pictures clients how do I?

And also in the comments box is not beautiful all the words of tags and attributes, is that you can remove this?

Is there a guide for this. As I also enjoy the whole Mantra theme except the menubar which make it hard to design around. I would be easier if it were just a normal bar

In frustration I have tried adding and activating several random plugins……all popular and featured and all duplicate this fault……please someone say I’m not on my own with this

thanks for the answer! Thats help but still,  when I click on the categorie , it does not show all the posts in the page, like it does in the youtube tutorial you have send. It shows posts one by one, I have to select a page number on the bottom of the post to see  the next post. How can I see all the posts in the page?

Oh, and I tried disabling my plugins. That didn’t help.  If not fixable, can I just name them properly (what is that) and upload directly into the Mantra images file?

Sorry about that. When we upgraded to 1.9  we needed to add back in the footer and header text.
one of my programs overwrote your copy write instead of adding to it. I have restored yours.
I also see they never added the header text back in. You just cant find good help these days.

Hi Guys, not sure if my cries for help went through so I will send it again.

I am using the Mantra Theme on a number of my site (carsforcash247.com is just one of them) and find the the header image quality is being derogated. The original artwork is good but when I upload it the image quality is poor. I am using the correct size as it does not get cropped. The image is a jpg but a png is no better.

Am I doing something wrong? and is there some way I can retrieve the header image through a URL link.?

Hi Zed,

I tried with Google chrome & Mozilla, earlier I was using IE 10, with no help.

I don’t think its a wordpress installation issue as it was working fine earlier , also I am able to edit images in a different theme.

This issue has been reported earlier also in the wordpress forum http://wordpress.org/support/topic/cant-upload-any-images-3?replies=7  but as per the suggested answer here I don’t see any option

“Store uploads in this folder” field under settings>media.

I m using wordpress 3.5.1

Please suggest.

You could edit style-mobile.css and add a display: none for the tags/elements you wish to hide.

The thing is you need those elements to have a unique tag/id, and it would be a good idea to make this change via a child theme (some function overriding required) to make the changes stick between updates.

Hi guys,

Not sure whether this is a bug, or my settings, but I have double-checked settings, so I am leaning towards the first.

I am in the middle of setting up a website for a local non-profit organisation using Mantra v1.9.9.7 at http://sembusiness.org/demo/ and everything looks great on smartphones except for the header image, it is loading on my Blackberry Torch, but then disappearing altogether. The same thing happens on my 7″ Blackberry Playbook if I use it in portrait mode, but in landscape mode the website shows normally with the header image in place, so the problem only seems to occur on devices with less than 4″ width screens.

The header graphic was re-sized to exactly 1070 x 200 pixels, and yes, I have the Mobile View enabled, and the totally responsive option ticked. I had a screenshot of the options made for you, but I don’t have the option to upload the file, so you will need to take my word for it that the options are set correctly.  🙂

Mantra has a configurable “Custom Footer Text” field in Mantra Settings > Graphics Settings.

That is probably what you’re both looking for.

Try to use a standard theme from wordpress (like “Twenty Ten”) with that calendar plugin and second of all please specify the name of the plugin (as i see on your site it might be “All-in-One Event Calendar Plugin”).

Some functions are automatically replaced if you use the same function name in the child theme, bust most core functions are a bit more difficult to override.

You need to individually un-hook Mantra actions and hook your own modified child theme functions in their place.

Example:
