Can\'t get category page with intro template to work

I’ve been using this guide: http://www.cryoutcreations.eu/wordpress-themes/wordpress-tutorials/how-to-use-the-category-page-with-intro-template-in-our-themes

But somehow, the one post that uses the category I’m trying to add (I’ve tried both catid and slug, but not simultaneously), doesn’t show up.
