VE

Controls the featured images visibility on single post sections.

Auto Select Images from Posts Content

VE SE KA FL AN

Controls whether or not the theme should use images from inside posts as featured images (when no featured image is set).

Tip

This functionality depends on the content images actually being associated with the post/page itself. This happens when the image is uploaded while editing the post/page and no association happens if the image is uploaded directly to the library (or can be incorrect if the image was uploaded while editing a different post or page than the one it is displayed in).

VE SE KA FL AN

Controls the maximum height of the featured image (in pixels). Featured images are cropped to this height and the appropriate width (depending on site width and posts list layout).

Can be set to 0 to disable featured image processing entirely (and display featured images at the size and aspect ratio they originally have). - does not apply to Verbosa

Important

It is necessary to regenerate thumbnails for existing library images after changing these values.

VE SE KA FL AN

Controls the layout featured images use when displayed:

  • Cropped - forces the featured image to be as close to the configured height as possible.
  • Contained - makes the featured image fit in the available space without cropping too much of its sides. When the theme resizes in width (to fit the screen) the featured image will be shorter than the configured height.

VE SE KA FL AN

Controls the position of the viewpoint the image cropping occurs at.

Set to No Crop to disable featured image cropping entirely. - does not apply to Verbosa

SE KA FL AN

Controls whether or not to use the post's or page's featured image as header image. Applies to single posts and static pages views and only occurs when a general header image is set (which the featured image will replace).

The featured image is used in the header only if it is large enough (at least 75% of the configured site width and configured header height).

SE KA FL AN

Controls the use of placeholder images in the Cryout widgets and Related Posts section when listed posts do not have featured images set.

VE

Controls the height (in pixels) of the colored line that appears under the featured image.
