Landing Page Text Areas

The options described below are located in the theme's Landing Page » Text Areas panel on the Customize screen.

Text areas are created from published (static) pages. Individual pages can be selected for individual areas.

Plus only

The Plus themes include more text area sections than the base themes.

VE SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

Controls the source static page that will be used in a specific text area. The following page attributes are used:

  • page title as text area title
  • page content as text area content
  • page featured image as text area background image (in some themes)
  • first content image as text area inner image (in some themes)

Plus only

SE RO KA FL ES BR AN

The Plus themes come with a companion Featured Content plugin which provides a dedicated custom post type usable in the theme's text areas instead of pages.
