1.14 and the sidebar

Yes… version 1.14 arrived and the biggest change is the ability to select the sidebar’s position. Apart from disabling it altogether you can now also choose to have the sidebar positioned either left or right. Because a few variable names changed, if you’re updating directly from WordPress you might have to reset the Zombie Apocalypse Options from the admin section.

Other, smaller changes are the ability to hide or show the header’s grunge background image, the new custom header image size (900px) and some extra padding under the sidebar’s headings.

If you’re going to upload your own custom header image, these will now be 900px wide (they used to be 700px) and now they WILL cover most of the zombie hand in the right; in this case you might want to disable the Zombie Hand graphic from the admin panel. The original idea was to have the zombie hand AND a custom header but in the end it just looks weird. So the recommend idea would be to leave the hand on if you’re not using a custom header and to hide it if you’re uploading your own header.

Zombie Apocalypse is a dark, "B" style horror movie inspired WordPress theme by Cryout Creations with lots of blood and gore. For more info check out the theme's page.
