Been loving your theme and using it on a demo site for new client. Will donate later to remove (eventually) branding — if I can get it working again after updating it . I AM using a child theme. I do know what I am doing, but when I just updated the main template this morning I am now having trouble with the child theme. It will no longer honor my hand-picked post excerpts despite proper settings — the child is ignoring and looking to the parent for post excerpt settings. Using your template on another client demo site — have not updated main theme this morning and having zero troubles with that child theme. I am now reluctant to update the theme.
