I am using (and loving) verbosa theme.

The WP Search widget does not work for me.
I can enter a search string, however and cannot “submit” the search.

View at a breakpoint that shows the left hand rail.

Not sure if it’s me, the theme, a browser extension, or another plug in.

Sounds like a JS issue. Try to temporarily disable all your plugins and check if the problem still manifests.

Plug in problem it was!!!

Did the divide and conquer method, turning all off, then half on at a time.
