Star ratings for products stopped working.

Looks like they stopped in August 2016 and, yes, we’re just noticing it now.

The ones before that date display. But when you make a new product review, there is no option for a rating. And no option in Comments to make the rating.

I’m pretty sure it’s theme related.

You mean older products display the rating selector while newer ones don’t?
A theme update can’t change the behaviour of newer content while keeping the older one functioning the same.
Do the ratings work as expected on one of the default Twenty themes?

Can you link to a working and a non-working product so we can compare the two?

Roughly correct. At some point in late 2016, the ability to star-rate products stopped working.

When I view comments (I can send screenshots) products reviewed before the end of 2016 have a star rating drop down option. But viewing comments created after that time, there is no option for a drop-down rating, even though the product has been reviewed. And require star rating is selected for.

But if you were to review this product today, there is no option/requirement to star rate it.

Is the rating option still enabled?
Does the rating selector appear on any of the default Twenty themes?
