Hi,

The social Icons I’ve put in my header don’t seem to be working, and I am unsure why. I’ve defined them in the social icons menu. Yet when I click the icons nothing happens (aside from the animation). However, when I right click an icon and select, “open in new tab”. Not sure if this is a bug, but how can I make it so I can simply left-click the icons to make them work?

(update): ah, I think I found the issue. The icons don’t seem to work while the wordpress dashboard is active (while customizing the site); however, they work when accessing the site as normal.

Thanks for the feedback.
A lot of stuff doesn’t work while editing themes in general using the customizer. It will hopefully get better in the future, but it’s not up to us.

Links that go off-site are disabled in the customizer (so to not accidentally leave the customizer with unsaved options). This is how WordPress chose to make the customizer section behave.
