I am using Nirvana, and the slider on the presentation page works fine on my desktop, but doesn’t work on mobile devices (both iOS and Android). The same image appears and seems to ‘clash’ with the correct image for the featured post rotating through the slider at that point. This problem seems to have started when I installed ‘Seriously Slider’ and set up a slide for the header (for use in Anima). Even after I deactivated the plug-in the problem is still occurring – what is going on?

Just to add to this, the links in the featured posts in the slider don’t work on mobile devices either (desktop seems to be fine). Please could you assist because this ruins the user experience on a mobile device.

You have Jetpack’s Photon service enabled. This interferes with the functionality of the built-in slider.

To solve this you’ll need to either disable Photon or switch to a different slider.
