We want to order the priority support which supports the link removal. Can we remove the whole footer then to implement our own footer?

The footer contains multiple functional sections (widgets area, footer menu, footer custom text, footer socials and credit link).

Together with our priority support we provide the instructions for removing our credit link from the footer (and replacing it with a credit link of your own if desired).
All other footer elements can be easily disabled by leaving their contents empty. The footer as a whole takes up space as much as is needed by the containing elements.
