This has been a problem for several updates. I’m not very experienced in WordPress, so I hesitated to ask for help until I’d thrashed around sufficiently.

In Safari on iPhone 10.3.3, I cannot see the landing page as the mobile view on the Controls menu suggests I might. Instead, I see the Home Page (which I’ve left mostly blank except for a link to my blog as a work around).

I get compliments on the theme… which goes to show that even my poor skills can be gussied up with some excellent programming!

Oddly, today I looked at the site on mobile, and it was wrong. Then, I looked at it and it was right! Yay! Then I looked again an hour later, and poof, wrong again. I wondered if it was varying by whether I was logged in or not, but that didn’t seem to go anywhere.

You probably have Jetpack’s Mobile Theme feature activated (which entirely replaces the selected theme on mobile devices).

Thanks! Turned that off, all is well. I always review the theme docs first, but as I didn’t know where to look, they weren’t so helpful.

The theme’s docs are currently almost non-existent, but we’re working to correct that 🙂
