The plugin “Master Slider” creates a slide show (slider) from images in the media library. Sliders get onto a page or posts by using a short code such as [masterslider id=”1″]. After creating a slide show the preview works fine within the Master Slider environment. However when I view the page the slide show does not work. A curious thing is … when I view the page – then click on the customize link at top of the page – the slider begins to work while the left column is visible for customization. Is there some secret to getting short codes to work?

Does the slideshow work if you temporarily switch to one of the default Twenty themes?
If it still does not, your site may have JavaScript interference from another plugin.
