In Fluida, I don’t want my featured images in the header. I want that to stay the same. So I disabled “Featured Images in Header” in <Post Information/Featured Image> so that is good.

But, I do want the featured image in the post so I’ve enabled “Featured Images” in <Post Information/Featured Image>. I’ve looked all over the place over and over and can’t see anything else I can do. But I can’t get the image to pop up in the post.

Is this just not possible????

The theme does not display the featured image in single post (or single static page) sections. The featured images are only used in posts lists (and in the header if the corresponding option is enabled).

In single posts / pages the desired image can be inserted directly in the content (at the most appropriate location).
