how to remove 'home' from top menu

Hi, I would like for the ‘home’ to not be there on the top menu. Under appearence, menus, menu structure, the ‘home’ page isn’t there to see or remove. Under Reading settings, when I try to set my hopepage as a static page, and select it from my list of created pages (‘about’, for example) then the about bit disappears from the menu on my site, yet the ‘home’ bit is still there. Or even if I could edit it from ‘home’ to something else of my choosing.

    Much appreciate any help, thanks

If you’re not using a custom menu, then WordPress automatically generates the menu content from pages that you have on the site.
