When the width of the window is between 650px to 800px, the widget disappears behind the top menu. Any idea what is causing this?

Sorry that i can’t resolve your issue but how did you put the search on the header beside the logo? Just put the widget in the header area?

Header widgets going missing should be fixed in the 2.2.2 update. Let us know how it works for you.
