Hey guys and gals! This theme couldn’t have come at a better time for me! So grateful for what you do over there…do I smell coffee?

I’m going to be banging hard on this theme and will likely be a great beta tester for you. I have a few things already stacking up, but have not documented all yet.

First problem I’m having is using the Header Widget to place content within the header image per the “Header Structure>Header Widget Width”. You have a setting to place a percentage of the widget (I assume for using a logo graphic within the header image? This was a feature I loved about Mantra, my previous theme, but not finding a way to get the same results.

Also, where might I get the Title text of the site (and menus for that matter) w/o ALL CAPS?

Thanks again for another kick ass theme! I’m sure to be in touch as I push this one to it’s limits!

Oh Hey, almost forgot. I love the ability to control the featured image, but here’s my dilemma…

My Mantra featured images were all 250×250 and placed to the mid-left of the excerpts on my blog post page. The supposedly “responsive” nature of the new featured images on the excerpts mess with all of my graphics and the look is atrocious. Is there anyway we can get the old type incorporated into this theme also?

I like that they can become a featured image to the post, but on the excerpts it seems a little buggie. I don’t want to have to go thru and update images on ALL of my posts to fit the theme if I don’t have to.

    Thanks again.

I managed to work out the issue I had with the featured image, actually learning to like them alot. 🙂

I have to admit I prefer the “clipped” vs. “responsive”…the effect is kinda cool.

The header widget size option is kind of inherited from our other themes. I believe it will need some reworking as the header image is now a different layout than on the other themes.

The featured images behaviour is entirely different from that of Mantra (or the other themes).
If your source images are large enough, you can automatically regenerate the thumbnails with a plugin so they fit Fluida, otherwise they will indeed look bad (be zoomed in too much if small).
