[Silver2017]

I’d like to be able to display a list of Child Pages, preferably with Excerpts & Thumbnails (featured image) at the bottom of their Parent Page. Although there are a small number of plugins that somewhat support this, most of them are WAY out of date. So I’ve looked into themes that support the display of Child Pages within Parent Pages. Some themes do support this, but it’s quite rare.

As a user of the Nirvana theme, I’m wondering if it’s capable of listing Child Pages. I’ve looked within the Cryout Serious Theme Settings, and can’t see anything that mentions this feature. Is it possible through some combination of advanced settings, custom CSS, etc. to enable this functionality?

If it’s not possible, do any of the Cryout themes (free or paid) support this feature?

This capability would require custom coding (either via a page template or a shortcode) to implement.

Do you know if there’s any plan to implement a feature like this within any of the Cryout Creations’ Themes? Some other WordPress Themes have this feature, but it seems to be quite rare.

Being able to display a styled list of Child pages within a Parent page would be such a useful feature. I’m surprised it isn’t hard-coded into WordPress.

I think WordPress.org repository themes wouldn’t be allowed to include such functionality since it would most likely be considered plugin territory.
