Are "Stickies" supported?

I don’t see any option in either the template .php or page.php or in the post editor to designate a particular post as a “sticky”.  Where would I find it?  And, if the answer is that I’ve got to use the page-with-intro template, do I need to modify the php file to accomodate having 2 columns?

(currently, I am using the template twocolumns-right which I’ve actually merged with your basic blog template and then added substantial custom .css through the mantra-settings panels)

    Much Thanks!

The “sticky” option is set in the dashboard when you create/edit a post, in the Publish panel under Visibility; click edit to see the checkbox.
