#site-header-main {
height: auto;

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Landing Page Slider not responsive]]> Thu, 15 Mar 2018 16:54:34 +0000 goldfishflake The css worked beautifully to solve this issue on my static landing page except now when reducing the screen size before it gets to phone sized it crops the top of my image where the logo is displayed.

]]> <![CDATA[Not Enough Arguments?]]> Thu, 15 Mar 2018 15:11:47 +0000 saturjay Hi! Big fan of your themes! Recently I started translating my site with Polylang. At first I used Fluida, however, I found the post on the Fluida forum that stated I should switch to Kahuna for the time being, and so I did. I started translating my Posts. And I noticed there was an error in the header breadcrumbs stating : WARNING: SPRINTF(): TOO FEW ARGUMENTS IN /HOME/**mysite**/PUBLIC_HTML/WP-CONTENT/THEMES/KAHUNA/CRYOUT/PROTOTYPES.PHP ON LINE 764

I have no knowledge of coding or so whatsoever concerning PHP, so I don’t know what that means.

Also, when I activate Polylang, on the translated version, the menu stops working, as in, the dropdown feature stops working. I had the same problem on Fluida and I don’t know how to fix it.

I have posted the website URL so you can see the error and the menu.

Thanks in advance!

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Headline Banner Distorts in Some Browsers]]> Sat, 10 Mar 2018 09:55:40 +0000 myob9a Tried this on another site with different content with the same result.

This issue is now the only thing holding back a ‘go-live’ update to the site.

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Headline Banner Distorts in Some Browsers]]> Wed, 07 Mar 2018 21:48:48 +0000 myob9a Nearly did the trick, but the image top (say 80px) is at the bottom of the image. See url. I have no additional CSS code that modifies the classes you have used.

It distorts also in Firefox with that change.

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Headline Banner Distorts in Some Browsers]]> Wed, 07 Mar 2018 13:40:29 +0000 Zed There is a known limitation in Safari not being able to correctly handle background images that are set both as fixed and cover, but I am not aware of issues with images in Chrome and Opera.

Try this CSS:
body #masthead .header-image { background-size: contain; }

]]> <![CDATA[Headline Banner Distorts in Some Browsers]]> Thu, 01 Mar 2018 12:16:47 +0000 myob9a I am running Kahuna No_Link and have an issue with banners in some browsers. The header is set at 1920×325 as are the banner image sizes. Media library shows the images as 1920v325. There are two banners set at random.

They display fine in Edge and Firefox but are total distorted in Chrome, Safari and Opera.

Any thoughts or suggestions how to ensure they display correctly would be welcome.

]]> <![CDATA[Reply To: Horizontal top menu: Drops down (off the navigation area)]]> Tue, 27 Feb 2018 21:22:20 +0000 Zed For best visual results, the menu items need to fit in the available space on the target screen sizes (and before the mobile menu is activated). If the menu items are too many for the screen, they will overflow and extend beyond one row.

Due to the complexity of the header there’s no magic fix for this yet. The solutions are to either limit the number of items to make the menu fit in one line (at least on the target screen size and larger) or activate the mobile menu earlier – when the menu no longer fits (using custom styling).

]]> <![CDATA[Horizontal top menu: Drops down (off the navigation area)]]> Tue, 27 Feb 2018 08:09:00 +0000 Jan__ I’m using Kahuna, currently in a closed developement-enviroment.
Boxed layout @ 1280px width.

Viewing it at full width, everything is fine.
Viewing my kahuna-site at a medium width (size down the browser-width), the horitontal top navigation menu exceeds the width of the top navigation area, and suddenly drops completely off that area. Now its in the static image area and becomes barely visible.

I made two screenshot to illustrate it.

Here is everything fine:

Here, I reduced the browser-window-width a little, and the menu left the blue navigation area:
