Widget Areas¶
The themes include multiple widget areas which can be used to display widgets in various theme locations. Additional widgets beside the core ones can be provided by plugins.
Left Sidebar¶

This widget area is displayed in the left sidebar, on layouts where this sidebar is visible.
Right Sidebar¶

This widget area is displayed in the right sidebar, on layouts where this sidebar is visible.
All sidebar widget areas are displayed after the main content on mobile devices.
Footer Widget Areas¶

There are 4 widget areas in the footer section. These separate widget areas can be used independently to arrange the footer widgets in columns (between 1 and 4 columns depending on how many widget areas are used). When multiple widget areas are used, they split the site width evenly.
Above Content¶

This widget area is displayed before the page/post content (normally under the header section). This widget area does not apply any styling to the included widgets.
Below Content¶

This widget area is displayed after the page/post content (normally before the footer section). This widget area does not apply any styling to the included widgets.
The above and below content widget areas are not displayed on the theme's Presentation Page.
Header Widget Area¶

This widget area facilitates displaying widgets on top of the header image. The widget area has a configurable size (in the theme's header options, but does not apply any styling to the included widgets).
Presentation Page Columns¶

This widget area is used to define the content of the theme's Presentation Page columns section. It supports any number of the dedicated Cryout Column widget provided by the theme. Other widgets are generally supported as well, but we cannot guarantee that they will work as expected in this widget area.
Cryout Column Widget¶

The Column dedicated widget is designed to be used to define individual columns in the theme's columns section. The widgets provides multiple configurable fields for its attributes:
- column image
- column title
- column text
- column link (with open in new window checkbox)

Primary/Secondary Widget Area - Sidebar 1¶

Third/Fourth Widget Area - Sidebar 2¶

These widget areas are displayed on layouts that use both widget areas.
