Slider funtion wonky since WordPress 4.2.3

Update WordPress to V4.2.3 and now the slider has one extra bullet which when it loads the slider vanishes and everything below it moves up. It doesn’t matter how many slides are set-up (using custom slides) If I set up three slides I have 4 bullets, if I set up all 5 slides 6 bullets show with the last one always being no slider. The last bullet moves to be superimposed over my menu bar. Then when allotted time passes the first slider loads and everything repeats itself.

Only happened when I upgraded to latest version of wordpress. No plugins have been updates. Any thoughts?

Strange, after pulling my hair out as to why this is happening I took a break to upgrade to Windows 10 and all is fine now. Bizarre, but now is working.

I am very pleased with how this theme is allowing me to develop my website pretty close to how I imagined when first starting out. I appreciate the flexibility.

I have the same problem as you described. Two extra bullets on my slider won’t disappear. My laptop is also running on Win10 so it can’t be that issue. This thing really drives me mad. Need support.

I took a look at your website Ulrike and yes, that is exactly what was happening with mine. I have no idea why it happened or why it stopped except for upgrading to W10 but since you have that now as well I am at a loss as to why it is happening.

I could solve the Problem with the help of another user. Three plugins caused the additional bullets: Huge IT Image Gallery, Huge IT Portfolio Gallery, Huge IT Slider. These are not compatible with nivarna theme. So I have tried to disable each one cheking after if the problem was still there. I found a compareable slider with NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati.
    Now everything works great. 🙂
