    Mantra 2.2.1
    sidebar.php line 122
    <?php echo is_active_sidebar(‘third-widget-area’); ?>
    I think this is a peace of code only for debugging purposes.

    I replaced with:
    <?php //echo is_active_sidebar(‘third-widget-area’); ?>
    And the onwanted character is gone

    Thanks! I had the same problem, and this fixed it.

    Dear Frank,

    …the unwanted character on my sidebar was a “1”. This fix worked fine on two sites I manage. Thanks a lot! I would have never been able to find that on my own.

    Regards, Thomas.

    Sorry about this. The issue is fixed in v2.2.2.
