I have been trying to get a page specifically for displaying categories. I love this theme and am using it for multiple clients. I would have two categories of posts that I need to display for my photo package clients. Preview and Purchased. Purchased has a slug of “already-purchased” and Preview “preview”. Purchased is catid 17 and Preview catid 16. After following you tutorial, it displays the intro fine, but no posts/exerpts. Wondering what I am doing wrong? Any suggestions? I have set the custom field to both slug and catid to the correct values, (not at the same time) and still no posts displayed.

Also, the categories I need to display are password protected. Does that make this undoable?

correction…… the categories are not password protected. I meant the posts in the category I want to display are password protected. The category template works for preview catid 16 however, figured out that the protected posts don’t show on the category template. Is there some code or parameter that I will need to change to display protected posts with this template?
